Charlotte Light, CNM 
Charlotte graduated from Syracuse University School of Nursing and then moved to Erie Pa and worked in the NICU and Labor and Delivery for two years. 

Then she moved to Atlanta GA and attended Emory University, Nell Hodson Woodruff School of Nursing. In 1985 she graduated with Master’s Honors with a MN and a clinical specialty in Nurse-Midwifery.  

Charlotte spent almost a year on the Eastern Shore of Maryland working as a CNM, then moved to the Reading area to work at Community General Hospital’s midwifery service.

In Sept of 1990, she became one of the first two Nurse-Midwives given privileges at The Reading Hospital. 

Charlotte has worked in three other practices here in Reading before joining Drs Muallem and Strieb in Wyomissing. She enjoys helping women and families throughout the lifecycle. 

Charlotte was born in Williamsport PA, the home of Little League. She grew up with 2 older brothers and was inspired to be a nurse by her Aunt. She volunteered as a Candy Striper, then worked as a Nurse’s Aide in high school and college. 


Charlotte has a daughter, Rachael and her fiancé Brandon whom she loves to spend time with, as well as her dog Snoopy and two grand-dogs, Teddy and Lacy.


Charlotte’s interests include sewing and quilting, travel and antique cars.
